My Maso (Auntie) came to visit and made the delicious caramel pudding cake for me. We ended up making video because I have to share it with you guys. This Caramel pudding cake has the creamy layer of pudding. If you love Caramel or pudding and cake, This recipe is for you. This caramel pudding cake is now one of my favorite cakes and I’m so happy to share this recipe with you guys.
Ingredients:
1 pack Duncan Hines butter golden cake mix. (You can use any yellow cake mix for this recipes.
8 Eggs. (Room Temperature)
1 stick Unsalted Butter.
1 can 14oz Sweetened Condensed Milk.
2 cans Evaporated Milk.
1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder.
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract.
Ingredients: (For Caramel)
2 tbsp Water.
1 tbsp Butter.
1 cup Sugar.
Recipe:
In a mixing bowl add the cake mix, 3 eggs, 7 tbsp melted butter (Add the butter in bowl and microwave for 1 minute). Mix it well with a spatula. With the electric mixer mix until its smooth. Keep it aside.
In an other bowl add 5 eggs, 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 2 cans of evaporated milk. Whisk until smooth. Add cinnamon powder and vanilla. Use the electric mixer to smooth the custard mix. keep it aside.
To make caramel. Add water, butter and sugar to a s use pan. Whisk continuously. It take 7-10 minutes before it caramelize.
Use a bundt baking pan. Butter the pan. Add caramel to the bottom of the pan. Top it with the pudding mix. Than add the cake mix. This will make 2 cakes.
Bake the cake in a deep baking dish. Because this cake bakes in a deep pan with water.
Bake the cake on 350 for 40-45 minutes. Once the cake is baked. Let it cool down for 7-10 minutes before taking it out. Use a plastic knife to break the edges. It makes it easy to take the cake out.
