Fried Chicken Nachos – Handle It

This week Ameer teaches you how to make Fried Chicken Nachos! It’s so good, you’ll want to dig in!

Salsa
1 cup of diced grape tomatoes
1/4 cup of diced yellow onion
1/4 cup of diced red onion
2 Tbsp’s of diced jalapeno
2 Tbsp’s of cilantro
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp’s of lime juice
1 Tbsp of cayenne pepper
4 Tbsp’s of buffalo sauce
Chicken coating
2 Cups of flour
2 Cups of breadcrumbs
3 Eggs
1 LB of deli chicken breast
2 jalapenos sliced
1 Pack of bacon
2 Cups of shredded cheese
Vegetable oil for deep fry

Tools
1 Food processor
1 Frying pan
1 Large pot
1 Chef knife
1 Cutting board
1 Pair of metal tongs
1 Wooden spoon
1 Oven tray
Parchment paper

Step 1
Add 1 cup of diced grape tomatoes, 1/4 cup of diced yellow onion, 1/4 cup of diced red onion, 2 Tbsp’s of diced jalapeno, 2 Tbsp’s of cilantro, 2 garlic cloves, 2 Tbsp’s of lime juice, 1 Tbsp of cayenne pepper and 4 Tbsp’s of buffalo sauce to a food processor and blend on pulse lightly.

Step 2
Cook bacon bits in a frying pan on medium heat for 10 minutes.

Step 3
Cut chicken In to the shape of nacho chips. Bread chicken in flour then dip in egg-wash and coat in bread crumbs.

Step 4
Heat oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and begin to deep fry chicken for 2 to 3 minutes each batch.

Step 5
Place chicken nachos on an oven tray lined with parchment paper then garnish with bacon bits, sliced jalapenos and shredded cheese. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until cheese is melted then serve with salsa.
