Lovely fruit salad! Thanks for sharing it 🌺 💚 🍓 What I’ve been doing for the past month is eating within a 4-5 hour window. I have breakfast at 10 or 11 am, usually fruits or fruit salad. Then at 3 pm I have my second meal usually a salad or vegetable tortilla. And that’s it. I don’t eat anything else but sometimes I drink a light green juice at around 9 pm and or tea. It works well for me! I love it!
+RawVeganWay thanks! That sounds like a great schedule!
Have you ever tried intermittent fasting, with an 8-hour eating window? I’m experimenting with this right now actually. I think I like it better than fasting once or twice a week but not completely sold on it yet. I’ve never had a problem with restricting calories and actually feel more energetic when I do. I just don’t want to lose muscle, so I’m being cautious. My BMI is 21 as it is.
Healthy Hoosier yeah same here ..my eating window varies..sometimes on eat around ten and sometimes not until around one but try not to eat past 7 or 8 pm
Yeah, I understand. We’re all individuals and I agree, our bodies will tell us what they want. It just feels right not to eat until after high noon to me. I never was a big believer in the importance of breakfast anyway.
+Healthy Hoosier yes I’ve done intermittent fasting quite a bit. It works well for me. I usually do both intermittent fasting and the once a week daily fast. Although recently like I mentioned I got away from fasting for a while..but being drawn back to it now. I haven’t noticed any muscle loss from it..actually my best workouts have come the morning after fasting the previous day.
