This Lemon cake recipe is one of the easiest,tastiest,softest and moistened Cake Recipe ever.

This lemon cake is quick and easy to make.

INGREDIENTS
200 gms Butter
3 EGGS
100 ml (THICK) YOGHURT,
200 gms SUGAR
220 gms All purpose FLOUR
Lemon Zest of two lemons.
Baking powder 1/2 Tsp
Salt 1/2 Tsp
Cream butter and sugar until pale yellow.
Add in eggs one by one.
Add in the lemon zest and then add in the flour and then the yogurt and combine everything together.
Transfer the batter on to a baking vessel and bake at 375 F preheated oven for 60-70 minutes.
Test the doneness of the Lemon cake by poking the center of the cake with a skewer If it comes out clean,Then our Lemon cake is done!
Brush the top of the lemon cake with a Lemon syrup (optional) will add more lemon flavor in to our lemon cake.To make the lemon syrup,
We will need 4 Tbsp Water, 3 Tbsp sugar, Juice of half of a lemon.Boil until they get a syrup consistency.
