Mango Shake (Philippine Mango Shake) is a cool and delicious fruit drink prepared by simply blending riped mango pieces, milk and sugar. But this recipe isn’t just the regular mango shake. In this recipe I’ve added tapioca pearls and used condensed milk instead of sugar.
Ingredients:
• 2 mangoes, slightly frozen and cut into cubes
• ½ cup evaporated/fresh milk
• 1-2 tablespoons of condensed milk
• 1-2 tablespoons of mango puree (optional)
• ¼ cup (black) tapioca pearls, cooked
Directions:
1. Cook tapioca pearls according to packaging instructions. Then rinse with cold water.
2. In a blender, blend together: mango, evaporated/fresh milk, condensed milk and mango puree.
3. Layer a glass/cup with tapioca pearls and mango shake.
** If you opt for a sweeter mango shake, just add more condensed milk or you can use sugar instead.
