Super Orange Cake Recipe

Hi Guys, today I’ll show you how make a moist orange cake that is perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. It is bursting with orange flavour and doesn’t even need any icing.
What you need for this recipe:

Link to Wire Rack:
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
½ tsp salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 ¼ cup white sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup orange juice
½ cup whole milk
2 tablespoons sour cream
3 eggs
2 tablespoons orange zest

Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. In another bowl, pour oil, orange juice, milk, sour cream, eggs and zest. Beat well. Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in wet ingredients. Mix well.
Butter and flour and 9 inch cake pan. Pour in the cake batter.
Bake the cake for about 40 minutes. If a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean or with a few crumbs, the cake is cooked. Put the cake on a wire rack to cool completely.
After it’s cooled, go around the cake with an offset spatula or knife. Put a plate over it and turn it over. The cake should come out easily. Now put your serving platter on top of the cake and turn it over. The cake is moist and tender, I have to take a bite. It has tons of orange flavor and is not overly sweet. This is perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. I don’t put any icing on this because it doesn’t need it. Of course you can glaze this if you wish with powdered sugar and a bit of orange juice mixed together.
