Sweet Potato Recipe – SHAKE AND BAKE – LOW SODIUM – VEGAN – Persian Spiced Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Extremely low sodium (73mg) sweet potato recipe! These spicy Persian-Spiced Shake and Bake Roasted Sweet Potatoes pack quite a kick! OF course, you can reduce or eliminate the cayenne pepper, if you so choose.

This recipe is low sodium, gluten-free, and 100 percent VEGAN!

Cooking time may vary, depending on oven. My oven is pretty small so it heats a bit quicker than the huge ones do.

Here is the recipe in full in case you missed something in the video:

1 medium sweet potato, cut into 3/4 inch pieces
(keep them the same size so they will cook evenly)

2 Tsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil

1/4 Tsp Turmeric

1/4 Tsp Cumin

1/4 Tsp Paprika

1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

Add sweet potato pieces, then SHAKE IT UP!!!

Cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes

Remove and flip pieces over

Return to 400 degree oven for another 10 minutes

Remove and serve hot!
