How To Make The Best Crab Cakes
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound lump crab meat
2-1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 large eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 – 2 teaspoons crushed capers (optional)
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup panko crumbs
*Mix above ingredients in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Form into patties.
Vegetable oil for frying
In a large pan on medium heat coat bottom with oil. Fry crab cake patties on each side for 3-4 minutes.
Tartar sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1-1/2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon minced red onion
1-2 tablespoons lemon juice, to taste
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
*Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Very good, thanks Tess. Hey, have you ever heard of Florida Everglades seasoning? ( low sodium version of coarse). I used to be a die hard fan of Old Bay and I still love it, but if you can find this other spice blend you should check it out. BTW those are CRAB cakes…….not cornmeal bisquits with crab in em lol.
