Here is a quick and easy recipe to make a delicious, nutrient packed protein smoothie in just 2 minutes using a few basic ingredients.
This shake is low in fat and calories but packs 35g protein and 4 servings of fruit and vegetables! Making it ideal for people trying to lose weight (use it as a meal replacement) AND those aiming to build muscle mass (have it alongside a meal).
Ingredients:
200ml milk
50ml water
30g whey protein
1 handful of washed kale
1 banana
1 handful frozen mixed berries
2 pieces frozen spinach
Add all ingredients to the cup and blend for 20 – 45 seconds. Use less liquid for a thicker shake.
Feel free to modify the ingredients to suit your tastes and nutritional needs.
