Banana Shake Recipe

Hi Guys, today I’ll show you How to Make 3 Banana Shakes. These are delicious and quick to make. If you have overripe bananas that you need to use up, blending them is the easiest way.
This is how I save my bananas. I peel and put them whole in a zip bag. Smash them a little so they stay flat and save room in your freezer. Since these bananas are frozen, you don’t have to add ice and water down the shakes. The first shake is extremely healthy. I’ll be using 1 frozen banana, about 7 cubes of cut up pineapple. I cut a very large pineapple the other day and saved some in the freezer. You can use fresh or frozen pineapple. The frozen pineapple helps make the shake a little thicker and colder. 1 very ripe mango. This is the ataulfo or champagne variety and it’s my favorite. The flesh is sweet with perfect mango flavor and there are absolutely no fibers. Peel it, smells really good and cut it up. You’ll get about 1.5 cups. In your blender, put the frozen banana broken up into pieces, pineapple chunks, mango cut up and 1.5 cups of milk. I’m using whole milk, you can use any type you would like. Notice what I didn’t add – sugar. My fruit is extremely ripe and sweet so there is no need for sugar. Blend until smooth. You can see how thick and creamy it is. It’s naturally sweet, healthy and absolutely delicious. All 3 shakes will give you 2 servings.
For the next shake, I’m using homemade almond butter, you can use any kind of nut butter, peanut butter is a great substitute. We’ll start with 1 frozen banana, 3 tablespoons of almond butter, 1 tablespoon of sweetened cocoa powder. If you are using unsweetened cocoa powder, add sugar to taste at the end. 1.5 cups of milk. Blend. You will have to scrape down the almond butter, sometimes it can stick to the side of the jar. Now it’s smooth. This tastes so rich because of the almond butter and cocoa. It’s like a dessert shake but healthier.
The third shake will wake you up. It’s great during warm weather as a substitute for coffee and tastes like a banana mocha shake. We’ll need instant espresso powder, two teaspoons. One teaspoon of vanilla extract. A splash of milk. Mix to make it smooth. It smells good already. Looks lovely. Add 1 frozen banana to the blender. The coffee mixture. 2 cups of milk and 2 tablespoons sweetened cocoa powder. Blend until smooth. You can add ice to the blender if you want a thicker shake. I like to really taste the coffee so I used 2 tsps of espresso. If you don’t want the strong taste of coffee, add only 1 tsp of espresso. The chocolate, coffee and banana are a great combination.
Here are our 3 banana shakes, one very healthy, one a healthier dessert and one that’ll wake you up. Give these a try and let me know how you like them in the comments below. Subscribe and I’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching 🙂
