➳ Hello everyone! Today’s video is on the trending Raindrop Cake, Water Droplet, Water Cake, Rain Bubble, or whatever you want to call it. Essentially, it is very similar to the Mizu Shingen Mochi (水信玄餅 | ぷるるん). It took me legit 7 hours trying to get it right. It is not so easy, so it’s not perfect. Nonetheless, it is quite fascinating to look at and it can be tasty if you add toppings. The raindrop itself is quite bland though. I added a twist by adding boba to it since I am a fan of bubble tea with boba and boba. I hope you guys enjoy this! Thank you for watching 🙂

Ingredients:
3/4 tsp agar
3/4 tsp sugar
2 cups filtered water (or basically cooled boiled water)
*Put this in the REFRIDGERATOR not FREEZER for about 1 hour – 2 hours. Agar is much stronger than gelatin, so it soldifies at a higher temperature MUCH quicker!

*A lot of the recipes used the weight measurements for the agar and sugar and I do not own a digital food scale, so I found this very helpful website for people who want to use measuring spoons.
