Easy Healthy Food Recipes– Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate

With Easter around the corner we can all expect to want to cheat and enjoy some chocolate, but with this cheating comes SUGAR and we all know how we at Fancy Good Pickings feel about SUGAR. It’s additive and the illnesses associated with the consumption of it are not worth the few minutes of enjoyment.
Who said chocolate can’t be healthy? Who said Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate needs to eat away at your time when all you want is a good treat to celebrate Easter?

Today we will be showing you how to stay on track and feed your body the way it should be fed by making Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate with one of our chefs Michelle Navarro from the newly founded Fancy Good Pickings where all things are made for you and your health.

Ingredients
½ Organic Cacao Powder
¼ Organic Coconut Oil
2 Tablespoons of Pure Maple Syrup
½ Teaspoon of Pure Vanilla Essence

Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well mixed and smooth. You can pour the Raw Organic Chocolate into moulds or if you don’t have moulds, you can use ice trays. Freeze until hardened- about 30 minutes. Store the Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate in the fridge.

Depending on how sweet your tooth is this Easter, you can mix this Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate up as follows:

1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup = 85% Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate
1 ½ Tablespoons Maple Syrup= 73% Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup = Raw Organic Homemade Chocolate
