Ingredients

For the Flaky Pastry

110g/4oz Very Chilled Butter
150g Plain flour
Pinch of salt
Cold water to mix

For the filling
30g Butter
80g/3oz dark soft brown sugar
110g/4oz currants
30g/1oz chopped Mixed Candied Peel
Zest of 1 Orange plus the juice of half an Orange
1.5 tsp’s of all spice or,
half tsp, Ground Ginger
half tsp Ground Cinnamon
half tsp GroundNutmeg
1 Egg for Egg wash
