    I had acne for so long and it was awful. These are my personal
    recommendations. I once went to an herbalist who told me I had dirty
    blood, which I’m sure I did, & she gave me an herb concoction of burdock
    root, red clover & dandelion root. I would say 1 capsule twice daily, for a
    week, then up to 3 times daily. If that works okay, 2 caps 3x daily &
    eventually 3 caps 3 times daily. Anyway she didn’t warn me to start slow &
    work my way up. It worked & I turned into a monster cause it worked too
    good. Knowing what I know now I would say (1) make sure the organs of
    elimination are working good so when you start to detox, the toxins come
    out mostly through the kidneys (urine) & intestines (bowels). So drink at
    least a gallon of good water daily & eat prunes or magnesium, vit c to
    bowel tolerance or whatever you like. Just make sure you’re having minimum
    2 poops daily. If you don’t have access to a sauna, steam your face (not
    too hot) to open pores. Don’t use an;y of the acne preparations as they
    dry your skin out & cause you to overproduce oil. Try raw honey (manuka)
    if you can afford it, kills bacteria. If you can find decent watermelon,
    juice it & lots of celery, cucumber juice with small amounts of greens,
    ginger. Also carrot juice 2x daily, worked really good for my son,
    practically cured his acne. I would also put 1-2 tbsp. flax seed in a
    smoothie to help absorb the toxins. Remember go slowly while monitoring
    your detox, don’t overdue. That should work. Good luck. No dairy or
    anything with added hormones.
