MY RAW FOOD DIET JOURNEY:

This time on Raw…

1. LESS EXPENSIVE: Not buying 💯 organic, allowing myself to buy some conventional produce & then soaking them in baking soda/warm water for 30 minutes to clean.

2. Eating MORE VARIETY: Still keeping my staples of bananas/apples/dates, buy also eating other fruits, pears, berries, clementines, mangoes, pineapples, persimmons, grapes etc.

3. Eating MORE LEAFY GREENS/VEG: Having a Huge salad every evening to get in more nutrients dense meals.

4. Eating SEA VEGETABLES: getting in that iodine and Omega 3 DHA.

5. EATING ENOUGH: I have discovered that my body needs a LOT more calories eating raw foods vs. when I eat more cooked vegan foods. Eating high raw or fully raw, I need to eat a lot more calories to maintain my bodyweight, think clearly, have high energy, good digestion, maintain healthy hormones/reg period etc.

6. Having the CONFIDENCE/POSITIVE MINDSET: about WHY fruit based high raw is best for my body in particular.

  2. Chunky Salsa Vegan says:

I’m loooooving salads! They’re always huge but I love the savory at the end of the day after my fruits. I’m slowly transitioning to high raw/fully raw. Thank you for your videos!

  3. Joy Henderson says:

I really love eating raw, but I find it super hard to get all my calories in when I listen to my body. And it leaves me only eating 1800+ calories per day, do you have any tips? Plus I am an active teen

    • The Vegan Solution says:

Yes absolutely, focus more on the calorically dense fruits and dried fruits, they are lower in volume so you can eat more energy from it 😘

  4. Atheria PsychicGal says:

I am newly back on high raw (not all raw as I do use some protein powders and roasted nuts) and think I’m noticing that I can actually eat more calories on raw and not gain.
