Ingredients;

For the dough;
1 packet margarine (250 gr.), (Butter can also be used)
1 tea glass of milk,
10 grams instant yeast,
1 sweet spoon salt,
1 teacup of oil,
2 eggs (separate the egg yolk of one to brush ),
2 tablespoons sugar,
5 cups of flour.
10 branches of dill. (You can add how much dill you want).

For the filling;
150 gr feta cheese.

Process of Patisserie Pastry with Dill Recipe;

Put the warm milk, sugar and yeast in a deep bowl and leave it for 10 minutes.

While waiting, prepare your filling. Crumble the feta cheese with a fork.

After 10 minutes, add the soft margarine, egg, salt and oil into the mixture.

Combine all the ingredients and work them together with your hands.

Keep kneading the mixture and adding flour gradually until you have a smooth, firm dough about as firm as an earlobe.

You get a smooth but not sticky dough.

At the end add the chopped dill into the dough and go on kneading.

Take a tangerine-sized ball from the dough and press it down on a lightly floured surface to flatten it.

Put a small amount of your filling in the center.

Fold the circle in half over the filling so the edges come together and pinch them closed very gently.

On a baking tray lined with grease-proof baking paper, place the pastry seam side down and tuck the ends under gently as you go.

Repeat this with all the dough balls and then leave them for 20 minutes into the tray before baking.

At the end of the 20 minutes, brush the egg yolk on them.

Draw lines on them by using a fork and bake them into the preheated oven to 180°C until the tops turn a golden brown.

Wait 5 or 10 minutes after you take them from the oven and serve.

You get 20 pastries with this recipe and it can be changed according to the size of the dough balls.
