Hillbilly Jilly – My Mimi’s Pound Cake Recipe from Scratch

Ingredients

● 3 cups all-purpose flour

● 3 cups sugar

● 1 cup buttermilk

● 6 eggs – separated

● 2 teaspoons orange extract

● 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

● 1/2 teaspoon salt

● 1 cup shortening

Note: Grease pan with butter or non-stick spray
