Pound Cake Recipe | PennDutch Style

my favorite pound cake recipe for my birthday

recipe:
2 C. flour
2 C. granulated sugar
1 C. Crisco (for this recipe I used half Crisco and half butter)
5 large eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla

directions:
grease and flour pan (i like to use a bundt pan)
cream together sugar and Crisco
add eggs one at a time mixing after each egg
alternately add flour, milk, flour, then vanilla
**if i’m feeling fancy i’ll add some cinnamon**
bake at 350degrees for about an hour or until toothpick comes out clean. DO NOT OVERBAKE
cool for 30ish minutes, loosen edges with knife and flip onto plate (if using bundt pan)
