Pumpkin cake with orange cream recipe

It’s one of the best tasting cakes I have ever made!
Ingredients (14-16 servings)
For the cake:
-4 eggs
-125 g sugar
-300 g flour
-2 tbsp oil
-150 g pumpkin puree
-1 tbsp vanilla sugar
-1 pinch of salt
-1 orange zest
-1 tbsp baking soda
For the cream (orange curd):
-3 egg yolks
-75 g powdered sugar
-1 tbsp cornstarch
-250 ml orange juice (about 3 oranges)
-40 g butter
-orange extract(optional)
To decorate: whipped cream or cream cheese (optional)
