Thanksgiving Pizza – Handle It

It’s Thanksgiving this week!!! So Harley and the guys teach you how to make Thanksgiving Pizza!

Ingredients

Stuffing
1 loaf of white bread
3/4 cup of butter
1 diced onion
1 pack of bacon
2 tablespoons of sage
1 tablespoon of rosemary
1 tablespoon of thyme
2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
2 cups of chicken broth
2 eggs

Mashed Potatoes
6 Idaho potatoes
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of sour cream
2 tablespoons of salt
2 tablespoons of pepper

1 Pack of turkey bacon
3 to 4 Turkey breasts

Step 1
Peel the skin off the potatoes and cut into cubes. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook potatoes for 15 to 20 minutes until soft. Once cooked add 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sour cream and season with salt and pepper then begin to mash until smooth and no clumps.

Step 2
Toast a loafs worth of sliced bread. Once all of the bread is toasted, cut the bread into small cubes and add to a large mixing bowl. Set aside for later.

Step 3
Add 3/4 cups of butter to a frying pan and melt on low heat then add one diced onion and cook until softened.

Step 4
Cut bacon into bits and cook in a frying pan on medium heat for 10 minutes until crispy.

Step 5 (complete stuffing mixture)
Add bacon bits, 2 Tbsp sage, 1 Tbsp thyme, 1 Tbsp rosemary, 2 Cups of chicken broth, 2 eggs, 1 Tbsp salt, 1 Tbsp pepper and cooked onions to the bread then mix gently until thoroughly combined. Line a pizza tray with parchment paper, and layout stuffing in the shape of a pizza crust. Make it tight and compact. Then bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.

Step 6
Cook turkey bacon, and turkey breast in frying pans on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until cooked. Once the turkey is cooked, cut bacon into bits and pull apart the turkey breast with a fork.

****Chef tip: turkey is cooked at 165 degrees.

Step 7
Once the stuffing crust is baked lightly, add gravy and then top with mashed potatoes, turkey bacon bits, and turkey breast. Then bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve with cranberry dipping sauce.

Longtime fan here. For the last year or two, I’ve been seeing comment after comment about how this channel is washed up, dead, sellouts etc.

Yet EMT has always consistently put out a video every Tuesday since inception, and since handle it started they have been putting out some awesome (albeit sometimes horribly strange) recipe videos every Saturday. Then there is the creative stuff like Epic Chef, which they even brought back for a live stream a few weeks ago. Plus, they don’t needlessly make their videos go just over the 10 minute mark to double their revenue.

Thanks for the amazing free content for the last 7 years and keep up the great work team EMT
