This Chocolate Protein Shake Tastes Pretty Good – GardenFork

I started drinking a protein shake for breakfast to help lose weight. Here is an easy recipe for the chocolate shake I drink. This shake helps with weight loss by making me feel full and not want to snack after breakfast.

This protein shake recipe was given to me by a friend, I don’t know who originally created this. If you do, please let me know so I can credit them. I am not a dietician, or a diet expert, your results may be different!

Simple protein shake recipe:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk, soy milk, or coconut milk.

1 banana (frozen if you like)

1 scoop chocolate protein powder, here is the one I use:

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1 tablespoon cocoa

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Put all the ingredients into a blender, this is the one I like:

Spin till its mixed together.

Use peanut butter powder. It has half the calories.

what you can do is allow the fruit thaw in the container of the blender the night before so that way you can blend up the smoothie up in the morning rather than be half asleep while measuring the stuff out.

Eric, Dig up some young dandelion roots and blend them with orange juice. Strain and drink. Use about one or 2 ounces of young roots.( less bitter) Six ounces of orange juice.  This will give you energy   (almost instantly) and will curb your appetite. Works every time. It also cleans the liver, blood and a bunch of other stuff.

I make a very similar shake and have used dates and / or honey or agave nectar for a little sweetness. The dates are a great source of protein.

I did protein shakes for breakfast a while ago but I just juiced vegetables and added flavored protein powder. I usually just did some carrots, spinach, sometimes beets, and sometimes fruit depending on space (I always went above the line).
